I'm just wondering if you can just drill a whole into a plectrum so that I can use it for jewellery. Will this work, or will it shatter? If it doesn't work, how do people create those plectrum charms?
I've had a plectrum on my keyring for around 10 years.
I drilled it, but that's because it's a fairly soft plastic, if you're worrying about shattering you could always melt a small hole in it, my friend used a soldering iron to make a really small hole in his favourite plectrum, he wears it as a charm round his neck, it looks pretty good .

Hey!i'm from the uk and want to start making jewellery, I obviously need to get bulk chains and bracelets and earrings (plain ones so I can add my designs) but where do I get these from?? A link is a piece of metal that is bent into the shape of a circle.
The link has a point on the circle that allows one to open the link by bending the metal from side to side. The result is more in the shape of a spiral. At this point one can surround a link of the bracelet and the loop on the charm with the link. Then one bends the two ends back together recreating a circle.
