Charm bracelets have been popular from as early as 500 B.C., when Assyrians, Babylonians and even Persians wore charms which they associated with special powers.
In recent years gold charms and silver charms are becoming popular once again. Italian Charm Bracelets Italian charm bracelets are slightly different from traditional silver charms or gold charms.
Most charm bracelets are fashioned with the charms dangling from a chain; Italian charm bracelets however, are made with the charms soldered to flat links that can be removed from a stretch bracelet. Italian charm bracelets are a unique and fun twist on the standard charm bracelet because they are dynamic, fun to wear and trendy.

Or is it impossible? Or do I have to go to someone to do this?
A link is a piece of metal that is bent into the shape of a circle.
The link has a point on the circle that allows one to open the link by bending the metal from side to side. The result is more in the shape of a spiral. At this point one can surround a link of the bracelet and the loop on the charm with the link. Then one bends the two ends back together recreating a circle.

Oma Charm jewelry?
Author: admin
I'm looking for a necklace charm that reads "Oma" (German word for Grandma) for mother's day. Any idea where I can find one?
I just visited my Oma in Germany a month ago with my son,so I know how much that charm would mean to you.But I don't think you can find something like that because most Jewelry company's are more about the American customers then international. But the good side is that alot of Jewelry stores can do special orders where they can ingrave it on a clear charm. If they can do for wedding rings then they should be able to do it for charms,if they sell them at there store.Look in your Phone Book and call every Jewelry store, rather its a cheap crafty store or a nice Jewelry store at the Mall, some one should be able to do it,and it shouldn't be to pricey for something that small.Hope this has helped,Good Luck.

There are two common ways to do this.
One, get a large jumpring or bail (big enough to slide freely along the necklace once it’s done) and use it to attach your charm. The charm will then slide along the necklace and fall, courtesy of gravity itself, in the center.
Another way takes a little more planning or forethought. Decide how long your necklace is going to be, sans clasp or tie, of course. Then, cut a piece of string or paper half that length. Keep measuring your progress on the necklace. When it gets as long as your paper, add the charm. Continue until the second half of the necklace is as long as the string or paper.
