Jewellery making- what do I need to get and where do i get it from?
Hey!i'm from the uk and want to start making jewellery, I obviously need to get bulk chains and bracelets and earrings (plain ones so I can add my designs) but where do I get these from?? Also what attachments do I need to add charms etc? any information you think I should should know that would be great!! thanks!! im gonig to be starting from the very beginning!!
You can go to www.firemountain.com you will find all you can imagine for jewellery making ang they have in the web site videos , pictures and all kind of cool stuff . I have been making jewellry for about 3 yrs now and i love it . I have a little mini factory in one of my rooms. It is great and help me for a hobbie and for extra income. Ells & Farrier, The Rocking Rabbit, The Brighton Bead Shop, Kaleidoscope in Bristol. The Bead Society of Great Britain will be having Europe's biggest bead fair on Sunday 7 October in Wealdstone, near Harrow. Most major suppliers will be there. The bits and pieces are called 'findings'. Good luck

Hopely this will point you in the right direction.
For wire brass steel,iron…etc - visit your local hardware store.
For Gold, Silver, Platinum wires look in the local phone book or the Internet for gold or perious metal dealers and see if they sell wire for it. - be prepared to pay to the nose for it.
